Italian Herbs
A blend of herbs and garlic that compliments pizza and pasta dishes.
Description & Use: Herbie’s Spices Italian Herbs is a classic blend of dried herbs that compliment Italian cooking. Add Italian Herbs to pasta dishes, pizza, spaghetti Bolognese and everyday soups stews and casseroles. A tasty herb and garlic bread is easily made by mixing 2-3 teaspoons with enough butter to make 2 French loaves.

Who doesn’t love garlic? OK, some of you don’t, however if you are a garlic lover, this easy to use, lightly spiced blend makes making garlic bread even easier, and tastier.
If homemade garlic bread is new to you, instructions are on the back of the pack. Also, great spread on pizza bases to make a garlic pizza, or even to use as a coating for garlic prawns or tossed through steamed broccoli.

Other Common Names: Florence Fennel, Finnochio, Lucknow Fennel Seed. Botanical Name: (Foeniculum vulgare dulce).
Description & Use: Native to Southern Europe and Asia Minor, it was a symbol of success and in ancient Greece was referred to as ‘marathon’ in reference to the famous battleground on which the Greeks gained victory over the Persians in 490BCE. Fennel seeds should be pale yellow to green and have a characteristic ‘anise’ flavour. Fennel, although stronger in flavour than coriander, is one of the amalgamating spices, having the ability to bring other flavours together, while imparting its delicious fresh ‘anise’ notes to Malaysian curries and satay sauces. Lucknow fennel is much greener in colour, sweeter in flavour, and generally used as an after dinner breath freshener or in sweet dishes.

Risotto Spice Blend
A special blend of selected herbs & spices, including black garlic and porcini powder, for seasoning risotto.
Description & Use: Use 1 tablespoon per litre of stock using your favourite Risotto recipe, or try in Pumpkin or Cauliflower Risottos.

A convenient, all-natural way to make a tasty tomato pizza sauce base. Simply add water to the consistency you prefer. This delicious, very lightly spiced mix has a flavour that the whole family will enjoy.
Other Common Names: Tomato Paste for Pizzas.
Description & Use: TOMATO PIZZA SAUCE
*To make Pizza Sauce to cover 2 pizza bases:
-3 tablespoons Herbie’s Pizza Sauce Mix
-¼ cup (5 tablespoons) water
-Mix thoroughly for even consistency
-Spread evenly over pizza bases before adding toppings of your choice.
Pack makes enough paste for 4 x 210g (26cm to 28cm) pizza bases.

Sprinkle these tasty, medium heat chilli flakes on pizza, pasta and spaghetti.

Description & Use: There are literally hundreds of different chillies, all of which descend from the original ones discovered by the Spanish when they found the Americas. Prior to this chillies were unknown to the rest of the world. The warming bite and delicious capsicum taste of chilli was warmly embraced by nearly every nation on earth, thus we find some form of capsicum or chilli in nearly every cuisine. Dried chillies have a very different flavour to fresh ones, as upon drying a caramelization of the sugars takes place which creates a delicious, robust taste not found in fresh chillies, in the same way a sun-dried tomato has a more complex flavour profile than a fresh one.
Chilli flakes are delicious on Pizza, and in dishes where some chilli texture is desirable in addition to the spicy heat.
